TIMBER DESIGNS

'Elegant and understated' would best describe our furniture. Typically, our furniture designs comprise of two timber species that compliment and define each other. Selected for their unique colour and characteristics, they ensure the finished product is not only beautiful but as unique and individual as the customer.

On our Hardwood Timber page, timber swatches help inform and assist our customers in selecting a timber colour and style that best suits their individual requirements and decor.

FRAME DESIGNS

Reflecting contemporary design, our frames combine strength, durability and absolute quality. All frames are hand mitre-polished, continuous square tubed 304 grade stainless steel or 316 marine grade stainless steel (by request).

As the frames support a substantial weight, additional stainless steel cross-bracing has been designed to support the timber from underneath. This bracing sits within routed channels on the timber’s underside while still allowing for the timbers natural movement.

To maintain table stability, we have designed unique stainless steel levelling feet. These ‘feet’ allow up to 20mm of vertical adjustment on all four sides ensuring your table sits squarely and securely at all times.

Our frame designs reflect simplicity with functionality, and like the timber we use, will always have a timeless appeal.

CUSTOM DESIGNS

We understand that customer requirements, like our furniture, are individual. From the boardroom and office to the home, garden, pool area or verandah, we recognise each customers requirements will be different. Because of this, Laidir only custom designs and builds furniture that conform to your exact dimensions, space and decor.

We believe our timber selection and preparation combined with our frame construction, represents ‘perfection in manufacture’. This means we can offer a 5-Year limited warranty* on all frames and a 3-Year limited warranty* on all timber work.
